unlimited bacon but no more video games, OR games (unlimited games), but no games?

On this page I'm gonna talk about games I like !

Yakuza

Yakuza, or as it's now called, Like A Dragon, is one of Sega's flagship game series next to Sonic. But I don't care about sonic tbh .
This series mainly follows, you guessed it, the Yakuza. If you don't know what the Yakuza are, they're Japanese criminal organizations, like the Mafia. Yakuza is at it's surface an action-adventure game and melodramatic crime drama. But the game's let you pretty thoroughly explore the featured cities, and they pack it with tons of side content. So after you see a building get blown up or something, you can then go sing karaoke or race RC cars minutes later. The dissonance between these two things, and the fact that they fully commit to both sides of it, makes it incredibly charming to me, and I can't get enough of it. Well... sometimes it's turn-based. But that's besides the point.

I have a lot to say about Yakuza, so I think I will put that in another section. For now, let's move on ! !!

Devil May Cry

Devil May Cry are hack-and-slash action games made by Capcom. You hack demons, you slash demons, and you shoot them. With guns. The games star Dante, half demon son of the legendary dark knight Sparda. The combat is very fun and satisfying, but also challenging. And it's also just really cool. The first one is a little, jank, since it released in 2001. It was actually intended to be a resident evil game. But, the game is still surprisingly fun if you can look past that. It also has some really, bad, dialogue, but it's quoatable in a "so bad it's good" way. Devil May Cry properly introduces us to Vergil, Dante's brother, and probably one of the most iconic things about Devil May Cry, excluding Dante himself. DMC3 has very fluid combat, and it definitely holds up way better than the first entry. DMC4 is slightly more forgettable than DMC3, but it's still very good, and was my favorite for a while lol. It introduces Nero, Dante's nephew, with a funny arm. And DMC5 is the newest game, and probably the most polished by far. The games also have a pretty iconic soundtrack. It's just a good time.

Terraria

This is a game I've sunk many, many hours in. I've been playing it since I was pretty little. The game's progression is just so addicting. Every bit of progress you make feels so rewarding, and the game is grindy, but it makes you want to grind. It's just fun. I don't really have much else to say :3 maybe I'll come up with something later . I have like thousands of hours though so I wanted to mention it !

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth

With all the DLC, this is probably one of the best roguelites ever. I've also been playing this game for a very long time. Which is funny, cuz the game is a little crazy with it's subject material, but I didn't care then lol. I was first introduced to Isaac from the Flash version, with the first two levels. I really liked it, so eventually I got the full paid game on Steam. The original Isaac, the one that was still animated in Flash. Even though Rebirth was already out. And I didn't even realize for months. I saw youtubers play the remake (which has a completely different artstyle), and it somehow just didn't click that it was two different games for a long time. Anyways...

Elden Ring

This was my first FromSoftware game, and pretty much my first Soulslike. And as it stands, pretty much my only of either still . I was amazed when I played it. Everything about it just felt right, the difficulty perfectly planned out. I wanted to try every weapon and explore every nook and cranny of the map. It was a really awesome time. The DLC was like that, but even cooler because I could go in completely blind. It was one of the funnest gaming experiences I've had. Really great game!

Mahjong Soul

Honestly, this game is probably mentioned too early, but I do like mahjong. Plus, the character I'm using as my avatar is Ryan from Mahjong Soul. I don't actually uh... have Ryan in mahjong soul. But I see him sometimes so ! I was introduced to (riichi) mahjong by Yakuza, and have been addicted since. So yeah. If you wanna play Mahjong, and you end up using Mahjong Soul from it, you might see me. My username is "LameDuckSudo", named after one of the possible names for mahjong opponents in Yakuza. Also mahjong soul has lots of anime girls. And anime boys.

Stardew Valley

Fun game. I like the farming ! Which is good considering it's a farming game. I marry Harvey . . He is a bad husband .

Balatro

Yay! Gambling! Poker! This game is easy to get addicted to, and it's one of my first picks for turning off my brain. Or for turning on my brain if I want to like, win.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

This one is kind of an oddball . It is like, half story game, half Real Time Stategy game. And I don't mean it's a Real Time Strategy game with story, I mean there is literally two seperate parts, you choose between either story or RTS on the main menu lol. The story is probably this game's highlight, but for the brief moments where you're actually playing the RTS stuff, I personally thought it was really fun. I honestly don't like RTS games, but it made me addicted and want more. It's too bad it's short.

Metaphor Refantazio

This is Persona, pretty much. It's made by the same team that made Persona. But with a cool fantasy coat of paint. Honestly, I haven't played Persona, but this game made a really good impression on me. JRPG isn't a genre I really seek out, but this impressed me with a very fun game and a very fun story with characters I cared about.

Project Sekai (Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage)

I honestly I can't claim to have done much of the visual novel stuff. And I'm not particularly good at the rhythm game. But I do like Project Sekai ! ! Maybe just because I like to spam the stickers. Plus it's vocaloid stuff and I mindlessly consume any vocaloid slop I see. Also there's some solid covers of vocaloid songs. Wonderhoy!

Undertale

I'm not as big of an Undertale fan as I used to be, but I'd be lying if I said this game didn't have a huge impact on me. Also Deltarune but Undertale is better lol !

Lightning round! Some games I like but I didn't feel like writing about...

Don't Starve, Geometry Dash, Enter the Gungeon, Cuphead, Portal 2 (not 1 lol), Spelunky, Plants vs. Zombies, Fallout New Vegas, Red Dead Redemption 2, Minecraft... Probably more !
